We've been breeders of Labrador Retrievers for almost 20 years. With many "trial & errors, back to the drawing boards" & persistance, we've mananged to secure the type & quality we now have come to expect in our breeding program. Our lines consist of the strength we've witnessed throughout the coarse of generations of study & we've put together pedigrees that reflect all that we think a Labrador should be. It has proven to be exactly what we were after, in temperament, structure & beauty. |

What does "Kai Den" mean?
We aquired our first show Labrador in Hawaii. Wanting to keep the heritage alive in his name, we took the name "KAI" meaning "water or sea" in Hawaiian, & added "DEN", a place where wild dogs made their home, as a prefix to the call name.
Thus, Kai Den Labradors was established with our first dog, CH. KAI DEN JET, CD.,WC, the #1 Labrador & #1 Sporting dog in Hawaii in 1985.
